Tai Chi Ruler

Prescious Rule of Heaven & Earth

The Golden Rooster School Taiji Rule - for relaxation and agility

Precious Rule of Heaven & Earth Qigong developed from the ancient martial and mystical traditions of China.

The Precious Rule of Heaven and Earth set facilitates the mental and physical connection with Qi (intrinsic energy or life force, pronounced 'Chi'). In this set, the 'Taiji Rule' (尺子-Rule)  works as an energy-conductor, enhancing and balancing the natural flow of Qi.
The Taiji Rule is a shaped wooden rod, designed to stimulate 'Labour Palace'  when held lightly between the palms, and due to the methods of application of its specially selected shape and dimensions, it also stimulates other energetic areas of the hand and body, throughout the set.

Qi develops quickly in the Taiji Rule, because it connects the mind, body and qi, perhaps more easily than any other method of qigong practice. Holding the Rule lightly between your palms it feels pleasant, natural, and satisfying, bringing your focus and Qi, to the Rule.  Practising the sets gentle movements stimulate the energy in different organs of the body, guiding the qi in specific directions.

The movements are also easy and largely intuitive to perform, gentle, relaxing circles and spirals which echo the essence of life like a moving Fibonacci sequence seen in everything from DNA onwards.  You will find yourself fully absorbed in the practice.  Being in the moment, with your mind quiet and calm, you will experience deep relaxation, and feel very refreshed.
