We help people with many issues
It may seem confusing at first But Tai Chi, Qigong, and perhaps more surprisingly, meditation are all connected.. Tai Chi is often refered to as 'Moving Meditation'.
But which one is right for you.... Read on to discover more.

Tai Chi Chuan is a Martial Qigong system, as opposed to a health or spiritual qigong system. All unite the practice of meditation, with controlled movement and breathing.
Our WuDang Taijiquan syllabus offers a complete system of traditional Tai Chi Chuan, with hand form, pushing hands, applications, weapons and more.
Our Tai Chi for Health, and Adapted Tai Chi options, offer enjoyable, safe, and ability appropriate exercise and relaxation for their participants.
“To practice Tai Chi Chuan is a deliberate decision to employ conscious awareness
of how we stand, move, breathe and respond”
The Benefits of QIGONG practice

Qi Gong (often spelt Chi Kung) is a powerful type of health exercise, practised for centuries by millions across Asia. Qi Gong is easy to learn and enjoyable to do. Even a few minutes of practise can have an invigorating and rejuvenating effect. Regular practice brings about a deep strengthening effect for the whole body and its various systems.
Qi Gong promotes, circulates, and stores Qi (intrinsic energy) in the body; by opening the energy gateways, and stretching and twisting energy channels. Relaxation and deep breathing, combine with movement, to encourage Qi to flow.

Some Qi Gong movements are very gentle, others more vigorous. Some movements  large and expansive, others more subtle.. All  have a specific purpose. The deeper one practises, the more one discovers the purpose of each movement, making Qi Gong practice more enjoyable..

Our Daoist Qigong methods are available for beginners to advanced practitioner, and for all levels of ability, health, and fitness.
Meditation, can be practised with the mind only,, although many traditional methods require control of the body by sitting or walking in special ways, to facilitate this.
Taoist meditation methods have much in common with other systems, being Daoist they can be accessible and when required, .down-to-earth.  Generating, transforming, circulating and storing of Qi (intrinsic energy) is the main goal in traditional Daoist techniques.
When Qi is strong and balanced, it can be used to promote health and longevity, enhance, martial arts, ability or, healing, painting and poetry for example. the ultimate goal is immortality through reunion with the one.,

Our Daoist Meditation courses start at easily accessible levels, and offer all the benefits you expect, and hope for, online, or face to face in local groups..

"During the last decade,
many scientific studies have documented that
Tai Chi and Qigong can effectively
address many health issues".

The benefits of qigong practice are similar to Tai Chi Chuan (which is after all a martial qigong) but many people find learning our Daoist qigong sets,  less daunting, less time consuming, and easier to concentrate on. Qigong is an excellent way to improve health, build stamina, and peace of mind.
Golden Rooster School Daoist Qigong sets can take you all the way from beginner to expert in a few minutes daily practice.

The benefits of Meditation

Meditation is common to traditions, and cultures from all over the world, a modern term is mindfulness, or fixed attention. In this respect, all our practices are meditative; but for thiose who want to reap the benefits Daoist meditation from the philosophical tradition is easy to get into, and does not conflict with, or impose any spiritual beliefs.

Meditation has long been recognised as providing peace of mind, clarity, and resolution.
IDaoist meditation is enjoyable, and pleasant to perform in a few minutes a day.
